Kris De Ruysscher

Studied lutherie, musicology, musical education, guitar and media composition.
And also health psychology, hypnotherapy and orthomolecular therapy.
Took formal composition courses with and informal advise from Brian Elias, Klaus Huber, Boudewijn Buckinx, Luc Brewaeys and Frédéric Devreese.
Worked for the Museum of Musical Instruments (MIM Brussels), the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra (Philippe Herreweghe), Brussels opera LaMonnaie/DeMunt, Anima Eterna (Jos Van Immerseel) and the Ars Musica Festival of Contemporary Music.
Is currently Composer-in-Residence for Brussels Muzieque.
Released several albums, EP’s and singles in all possible musical styles he can dream of.
